On May 13, the fifth edition of Brandlöpet will take place, a trail run that partially crosses the fire-ravaged area from 2014. The race, which premiered in 2017, had a break in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but is now back with timing and competition classes. Race director Kenth Pettersson reports that the event was held in lovely spring warmth with 77 participants, and that everything went as planned, even though it was "almost too hot" for the runners.
